Kelly Vogel Brooks is the Vogel Family Funeral Home Owner/Manager. Kelly received her life insurance license in 2007 and is also one of the funeral home Advance Planning Specialist. You will also see Kelly during visitations, services, and managing the reception room, gift shop and marketing. Having a passion for serving others, Kelly has served as the Children's Minister of New Hope Christian Church, as the Marshall County American Cancer Society Relay For Life Chairperson, Marshall County Drug Court panel member - receiving a Governor's Volunteer Award in 2006, past chairperson for Emergency Food Box, Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Auxiliary board member, March For Parks chairperson, and the Trees Forever Chairperson - receiving the 1997 Iowa Park and Recreation Lay Person of the year. Kelly is also a member of the board of Iowa River Hospice, a member of Marshalltown Rotary Club,and Marshalltown Garden Club. Kelly is married to Bob Brooks and has four children, Anthony, Ariadne, Alyssa and Alayna. |

Richard A. "Rick" LaMasters was born and raised in Marshalltown, graduating from Marshalltown High School in 1966. Rick attended Marshalltown Community College and graduated from the Indiana College of Mortuary Science in 1971. Prior to attending mortuary school, he was employed at Estel-Perrin-Avey Funeral Home. He later worked in funeral service in Iowa City and Waterloo before returning to Estel-Perrin-Avey in 1987. Rick and his wife, Cindi, have two children and five grandchildren. |

Jody Anderson was raised in the Clinton, IA area graduating from
Clinton High School in 1988. After high school Jody joined the United
States Army and is a Desert Storm Veteran. Jody attended Clinton
Community College, Sauk Valley Community College, and graduated from
Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, IL with a degree in Mortuary
Science. Jody, his wife, Amy, and their two daughters, Lauren and
Sydney reside in the Johnston Funeral Home in Conrad, IA. Jody is a
member of the Conrad Presbyterian Church, Marshalltown Young
Professionals, Marshalltown Community Y, Oakwood Golf Course in
Conrad, and the Conrad American Legion serving as a Vice President. He
also serves on the board for the Conrad Parks and Recreation. Jody
enjoys cycling and is a RAGBRAI veteran. He is an avid Hawkeye and
Cubs fan, who enjoys a round of golf from time to time. |

Mary Mauk is a Marshalltown native,and a 1975 graduate of the
University of Northern Iowa with a BA Degree in Marketing. Mary received her Life Insurance License in May of 2010. Mary is employed by Vogel Family Funeral Homes and Rose Hill Memorial Gardens as a Licensed Advance Planning Specialist and New Life Care Coordinator.
She is married to Mark Mauk, who is employed at Emerson Process Management. Mary has two daughters; Katie (Andrew) Mott, of Ames, and Sarah Knoll of Lincoln, NE, and 1 grand-daughter, Carolyn Mott.
Mary has been involved with several organizations in Marshalltown, including Rotary Club Board Member, Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and United Way Co-Chair. She is a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and currently an Iowa River Hospice Volunteer. |
